I took a long time looking for a good hotel in Paris and this was the one I eventually chose. I wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff spoke good English and they not only tolerated my French but pretended to understand it! The hotel (3 stars) has 27 rooms renovated in 1997 and is very well situated for the sites. Located on the site of a 17th century convent it's close to the Bastille and metro stations. Check out its web site for information on its hydrotherapy centre. We didn't try it but it looks good fun. We chose the deluxe room which was comfortable. It had the usual T.V., safe etc. and a large bathroom.
The basement houses a breakfast room which offered a nice choice of goodies and when you are in Paris this is the only time you'll want to eat in your hotel. The hotel can be contacted on :-
